Course Schedule

Music for the course will be sent to you well in advance, and should be prepared before the course begins.

Friday 24th October

Arrive for a 5.30pm start

5.30pm – 7.30pm - Ensembles begin rehearsing 

Venue: St Bernadette's school, London Road, Brighton

From 7.45pm - 'Composing & arranging for guitar' Presentation & discussion with social meal - all GBTS4 tutors and participants invited.  

Venue: Crown & Anchor pub, 213 Preston Road, Brighton, BN1 6SA 

Saturday 25th October

10am – 1pm (break at 11.30am) - Ensembles continue rehearsals

Venue: St Bernadette's school, London Road, Brighton

1pm-2pm Lunch break 

2pm-3.15pm - Guitar orchestra rehearsal

3.30pm-5.30pm - Ensembles continue rehearsals

7pm- 'Echoes of Espana' Jonathan Parkin guitar recital

Sunday 26th October

10am – 12.30pm (break at 11.15am) - Small ensembles & guitar orchestra final rehearsals

12.30pm-1.30pm Lunch break 

1.30pm-4.30pm  - Paul Gregory - Maestoso Music performance/presentation - End of course performances by guitar ensembles and guitar orchestra
