The first Guitars by the Sea weekend in 2022 was led by tutors Gerald Garcia, Stephen Gordon & Jon Rattenbury,
It was attended by guitarists from around the UK who played a wide range of music for ensemble and guitar orchestra.

The weekend included some enjoyable, but also intensive rehearsing, some socialising in the nearby pub, and then a final performance. The ensembles played works by Bach, Handel, Brouwer, Praetorius, Granados and other composers.Â
Maestoso Music displayed their excellent range of guitars in a luthier showcase, and professional guitarist Paul Gregory gave an evening concert to an enthusiastic audience.
